Hand Puppets

Hand puppets: a theater at home

Our 35 to 38 cm hand puppets slip easily onto a child’s or adult’s hand. The moving mouths of the dinosaur and bird let you make the characters talk, sing and act out whole scenes. The plush family, with parents and children, helps little ones reenact everyday moments.

Finger puppets: small but full of ideas

The set of 10 finger puppets fits in a pocket. It keeps children occupied while traveling, in a waiting room or at a restaurant. Each finger becomes a character, and the story unfolds as they play.

Why puppets are so useful

Playing with a puppet develops language skills, imagination and self-confidence. A shy child will often dare to speak through their character. Parents, childminders and teachers use them to tell a story, explain a rule or help soothe an emotion.

Plush puppets without small parts are suitable from 1 year old, and remain popular up to age 7 or 8. Check the age indicated on each product page.

Pair them with

Complete the world with our stuffed animals, dolls and pretend-play toys, or browse our toys for children aged 1 to 3 for more ideas to support early development.

To put on a real show, all you need is a sheet stretched between two chairs or a piece of cardboard cut into the shape of a theater. Children can then make up their own stories and perform them for the family, an excellent way to practice communication and build confidence.
